Little Ambassadors event report

 

On November 23rd, 2024, Martha Mission Africa held the "Little Ambassador" learning workshop at APU Plaza in downtown Beppu. This inaugural event created a platform for children and parents to learn about Africa. Representatives from four African countries—Tanzania, Egypt, Malawi, and Liberia—presented information about their respective countries at individual booths. At the end of their presentations, each booth attendant group had the opportunity to share what they learned from their selected country with everyone. The audience was encouraged to ask questions regarding the country being presented.

During the individual group presentations, many participants eagerly shared what they learned about the four African countries and expressed their excitement about being able to participate in such a cultural exchange. They also looked forward to participating again in the future.

 

After the learning event, participants had the opportunity to experience African food culture through various dishes and purchase handmade African merchandise.
